COVID-19 Safety Procedures

According to CDC guidelines and Governor Cooper’s orders for the state of North Carolina, massage and bodywork therapy is considered health care and requires all providers, including licensed massage & bodywork therapists (LMBTs), to wear face coverings. Although the mandate requiring citizens to wear masks was relaxed on May 14th, 2021, I request that all clients continue to wear face coverings, regardless of vaccination status, in order for everyone to feel safe.

Practitioners in our suite, including myself, have received our vaccinations.

We adhere to all disinfecting protocols, including wiping down all surfaces before and after all sessions with medical-grade wipes. In addition, a HEPA UV air purifier is running at all times in the massage space.

If you are feeling ill the morning of your appointment, please give me a call at (718) 415-4610 and I will reschedule your appointment.

Payment

Payment is due upon service.  I accept cash, local checks, PayPal (robincduffy@gmail.com), Square, Apple Pay and all major credit cards.

New Clients and Intake Form

Please arrive about 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment in order to fill out the Intake Form.  You may also download this form, print and fill it out, and then bring it with you on the day of service.

Cancellations and No-Shows

If you need to cancel your appointment, please give me 24 hours’ notice; this allows me time to fill that space  If you’re unable to make your appointment or cancel in less than 24 hours, you will be charged half of the full amount of the service. I understand that unforeseen events occur from time to time, and I will handle those on a case-by-case basis.

Privacy and Inclusivity

My massage space is a safe place. All private information is kept confidential as is anything divulged during the massage session. I do not exclude services to anyone and welcome the opportunity to work with POC, LGBTQ, the disabled, PTSD survivors, the neurodivergent, EMOs, HSPs, and anyone else who may feel marginalized.
